Our work
We have two key components to our interventions. Our ‘Educational Infrastructure’ work focuses on the physical facilities required - classrooms, latrines, drinking water etc., while the ‘Educational Development’ component of our work focuses on improving the quality of teaching, educational outcomes and wellbeing of the pupils.
TUSP and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of ambitious objectives to work towards in the achievement of global development: reducing inequality and striving for social justice for all, no matter who you are or where you come from.
For The Uganda School Project, it provides an excellent framework to ensure the goals of our organisation, based in a small village of rural Uganda, match those of the rest of Uganda, the rest of East Africa, Africa as a whole, and indeed the overall global push towards a more fair, prosperous and equal society.
Help support our work by donating
£20 helps us to buy 4 desks, allowing 12 children to become literate, while £50 helps to feed all 450 pupils for an entire week.
